Magical Technologies’ XR group functioned as an internal R&D lab advancing interaction models for augmented and virtual reality. Work centered on perceptual blending, spatial geographic anchoring, and intelligent assistants. Key outcomes included patented systems for digital assistants in AR, the “Reality Slider” for continuous adjustment of object visibility. These prototypes established foundational approaches later adopted across the broader XR industry.
