Magical Technologies’ XR group functioned as an internal research lab advancing interaction models for augmented and virtual reality. Work centered on perceptual blending, spatial anchoring, and intelligent assistance. Key outcomes included patented systems for digital assistants in AR, the “Reality Slider” for continuous adjustment of object visibility, and frameworks for cross-device spatial communication. These prototypes established foundational approaches later adopted across the broader XR industry.
