Mona was developed as an open platform for spatial creators, combining Web3 ownership frameworks with real-time 3D environments. The system allows creators to mint, deploy, and monetize interactive worlds while retaining full control of their assets. As Co-founder and COO, Matt Hoerl helped lead product and operations through rapid scaling, growing the network from MVP to a Series A backed by Protocol Labs, Collab+Currency, and Archetype. Mona remains a home for independent 3D creators working towards open, interoperable metaverse infrastructure.
